Future Chili Bowl entry, Anthony Petersen, we are still working on a nickname!!Last week we took off for Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Chili Bowl. Some of you might be asking what the heck is the Chili Bowl? Others of you were there :) The Chili Bowl is my favorite race of the year. It is an indoor race, in a building like no other. There are race car drivers from all over, including Ron and Tony's favorite driver Tony Stewart and my favorite driver Kasey Kahne. Plus it happens when no other racing is going on, the beginning of January.
This is a time Tony get to spend with his "cousin" Anthony. These two are peas in a pod. They hit it off immediately at our wedding when they both found out they have the same name, born in January, and their favorite driver is Tony Stewart. Ever since then Tony has adopted Anthony as one of his best friends, this is the only time of year they get to see each other. Tony talked about Anthony the week before we left, we couldn't wait to see him. When it was time to say goodbye Saturday night, I don't think I have ever seen Tony so sad. We are hoping they will come visit us this summer.
