Tony's first soccer game of the season!

Tony thought he was the cool guy with his name on his shirt :)
Needing a rest, he plays hard! Notice the sweat and red face.

Well I have said all along Tony needs to work on teamwork and he proved that to me at his first soccer game :) Tony is a VERY competitive boy and when it comes to wining there is nothing else in life. So, when things don't go quite his way whoever is around better watch out. His team lost 9-0 and after about the 4th goal things when down hill with Tony and I will leave it at that :) It was a rough day but we can only help him learn from days like that and hope they never happen again! Crossing our fingers the next game goes better.

First day of 3rd Grade!!!

Growing up way to fast!

Today was Tony's first day of 3rd grade. He has been very excited about going back to school. We meet the teacher on Monday and even though she wasn't who he was hoping for he is happy. Ron and I are both hoping this year will be more challenging for him. He will learn Spanish, cursive, and multiplication so we can only hope one of those keeps his attention! He also has lots of friends in his class which is a great thing for him, but not so great for the teacher ;) Hopefully his third grade teacher is as great as his second grade teacher was. Today was a great start to another school year!

Aww was a cute baby!

My parents are keeping Tony today and tomorrow because daycare is closed and school doesn't start until Wednesday. Well, to make a long story short this is where he ended up sleeping last night, Riley's crib! When Tony stays with my parents my Mom or Dad end up in the spare bedroom, which is where her crib is at in their house. Between Tony and two dogs, because of course Chase has to stay all night to, there is no bed big enough for all of them :) I told my Mom, at least we know Ron put together her crib right if it can hold Tony is should be able to hold Riley!

Just in case you don't know you should be able to click on the pictures to make the larger. This is a picture you need to click on, I haven't stopped laughing since my Mom sent it me.

Indy Racing Experience

Ron got to drive an Indy car at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway today. With the Indy Racing Experience you get three laps around the track and have to follow a lead car. The closer you keep with the lead car the faster you get to go. Let me tell you there were some people I could of passed with my golf cart out there! I teased Ron saying he would be the one to get in trouble trying to pass the lead car. Well he didn't get in trouble but the car did stop on his last lap because he hit the rev limiter too many times, which means he was going too fast! They said that he went about 122 mph, not a new track record but still pretty cool. Just being able to drive around that track and understand the history would be worth the money. Ron had a blast today and I am so glad we have opportunities like this given to us.

A free weekend??

A free weekend, what is that?? We had no set in stone plans this weekend and let me tell you it was great! I can't remember the last time we either didn't have to go to the track or Ron or I had to work or something was going on. Well Ron had to work Saturday morning but that wasn't too bad. Not that I am complaining about any of that but I am down right tired and it was wonderful just to be lazy for an afternoon for a change. We got lots done around the house and I finally feel some what ready for the baby to come. Of course even at 9 months pregnant I don't know how to be too lazy. We did spend sometime in the pool but it was so cool outside I didn't make it long. Tony turned blue after awhile and Ron turned into a prune!

After the pool Tony and I spend Saturday afternoon having a fashion show, he tried on all his clothes from last year. I knew he had grown a lot but didn't realize I would have to be buying all new clothes! He had ONE pair of jeans that fit him and that was it. Most of his long sleeve shirts were too small as well. Not that he needs winter clothes anytime soon but I knew he needed some new summer clothes to start the school year off. So we got up Sunday morning and headed to the outlet mall for some good shopping. I have to say Tony has turned into quite the model, he had a blast trying on clothes and getting to pick his own school clothes out. Ron and Tony are quite the bargain shoppers, we walked out of there with lots of new clothes and didn't put too big of a dent in the checking account. I am crossing my fingers he doesn't go on a huge growth spurt anytime soon :)

On another note, Tony started soccer yesterday. I didn't make it to the practice, Ron took him and some how is now the new assistant coach. We switched him from the YMCA soccer program to a more competitive league. Ron said he did great yesterday. He sure was tired and sweaty when he got home last night and didn't stop talking about it all night! Hopefully I will make it to the next practice and take some good pictures.

For those counting down, I am officially full term today! Only three weeks to go, but she can come at anytime from this point on and be healthy. I am hoping she chills out for at least a couple more weeks. The longer she stays in there the healthier she will be and the more I can get done at home and at work. I am very anxious to meet her but a little scared about how life is getting ready to change. I know Ron and I will do fine but I still wonder how we will handle not only a VERY energetic 8 year old but a new baby as well. Should be an exciting yet interesting ride :)

My two fishes!

Ron and Tony spent a lot of time in the pool this week, I think they are turning into fishes. Tony is getting braver the more he goes swimming. The first time in the pool he didn't want Ron to throw him, now poor Ron can get a break! They have a blast together and it is a good way to get all that energy Tony has built up out. I wish I had an ounce of that energy. Swimming lessons are on the agenda for this winter. Tony starts soccer Tuesday and can't wait. Between soccer and racing we decided to hold off on the swimming lessons until winter when he doesn't have so much going on.

We can't believe school is just around the corner. Tony's first day is less than two weeks away. Unlike most kids, Tony can't wait to get back to school. He really enjoys school and all of his friends. We have lots going on this month even though Ron and Tony only race twice it is a hectic month with other things. This weekend is our only free weekend of the month and Ron has to work Saturday :( We are going to take it easy this weekend and get everything caught up and do some school shopping. Well, that is the plan but knowing us we will find something to keep up busy! Hopefully if we do I will remember the camera!

Ron's Nesting!!

Tony doing something he shouldn't, Ron taught him :)
How can someone so little make such a big splash? Thanks Dad for mowing the yard, now I know where I am going!
Such a goofball, it only took my three times to get a good picture!

I think Ron has taken over this pregnancy for me, I truly believe he is nesting right now. I come home yesterday from work and he has already started dinner and then next thing I know he is pulling out the vacuum cleaner and he goes to town. Let me say there was no arguing from me! When I got out of the shower he was scrubbing the kitchen floor. Right now he is out mowing the yard, which hasn't been done in almost two weeks. Our backyard looked like a jungle, poor Chase would get lost when he went outside. Now we sit and wait for me to start nesting, though I always feel like I need to clean so maybe it won't happen.

We have been spending a lot of time in our cheap wal-mart pool lately. It has been wonderful, the best cheap thing I have bought ;) It is the perfect size for Tony and we don't have to deal with all the maintenance of a regular pool. Tony has a blast in it and usually we have to drag him out of it when bath time rolls around.

For those keeping up I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and had my first internal exam. I am 1 cm dilated and my cervix is 50% effaced or thinned. Not to bad of a start if you ask me. Only 4 more weeks to go!
